Meteor Observed Across The Entire State Of Florida
Meteors have been reported and seen in Russia, Cuba, San Francisco and now just two days later a meteor has been seen in Florida. The first sign that something was going was in the social media site twitter, thousands of people across the state witnessed the event. The US Coast Guard and the Sheriffs offices were getting numerous calls during the early evening hours on Feb 17, 2013. The meteor was seen across the entire state, from Jacksonville to Key West. Streaking lights were seen out over the ocean around the Hallandale Beach area and several towns to the north.
