I will be the first one to say this seems like and outlandish thing to say (that a UFO shot down the meteor) but this idea of a UFO or some secret weapon by the Russian Air Defense is getting a lot of play. These videos certainly brings some credibility to the story. There is a dark object that appears in each video, if they were part of the meteor they would have been moving at 40,000 mph and it would be the same color (white hot) as the main meteor. Also Russian Television, RT interviewed Ufologist in NY after the meteor exploded giving even more credence to this story.
There was also a story that hit the mainstream media saying that Russian Politician, Vladimir Zhirinovsky said that "this was no meteor it was an American weapon".
