Russian Nanospirals - Is This Evidence of Alien Visitation?

This story if fairly typical of the scientific and academic communities, when ancient technology is discovered that does not fit in with our "known" history it is under reported or not reported on. It is a conspiracy of arrogance an ignorance. There are many example of advanced technology from our ancient past. Much of this technology is on tucked into various museums around the world without fanfare and without proper explanation.

Are Russian Nanospirals Evidence of Alien Visitation to Earth in the Distant Past?:

Russian geologists working in the Ural Mountains in 1992 investigating the deposits of minerals in the rock formations may have discovered evidence of alien visitation to Earth. During this investigation the geologists found small spirals that could only be viewed through an electron microscope and were estimated to be at least 100,000 years old and possibly as old as 300,000. What that discovery by those Russian scientists produced was a genuine sensation, though not necessarily in the scientific world.

The people most excited by these microscopic spirals were those committed to proving the existence of alien life visiting this planet at some point in our distant past.

Those spirals, which came to be termed nanospirals, were so incredibly tiny that even with a microscope they are difficult to detect. The most extraordinary feature of these nanospirals was their amazingly regular structure and the smooth quality of their surfaces. The first nanospirals ever discovered were composed mostly of tungsten, although later finds were made of copper. It was that regularity of structure that most excited the UFO crowd. It seems that their proportions and uniformity are so regular that the only other structures that that equal them are those made by a machine run by human hands. In other words, a human hand alone could not reproduce them. Since they estimated to be at least 100,000 years old this present a distinct problem.
The technology that would have been necessary to produce such tiny spirals of such regularity has, in fact, only existed since the 1970s. Even someone taking a cursory glance at the Russian nanospirals would be quick to agree on exactly what they resemble: the grooves on a record. Or something similar. Remember in E.T. when the little alien constructs his "phone" to make a long distance call to home and he uses that circular saw create a timing device? Well, according to UFO hunters, these perfect little spirals made of tungsten and copper could only have had one purpose if they were indeed machine-made. After all, what is tungsten and especially copper used for today? The nanospirals were obviously part of a powerful antenna used for either sending or receiving signals. Possibly both.
Or.
Right from the beginning the skeptics smelled blood. These skeptics claimed that the nanospirals were compromised by mistaken measurements and that the spirals really weren't as regular as they appeared, meaning they could have been made without the necessity of advanced technology. Others made claims even beyond this by suggesting that the nanospirals were outright fakes, made by modern hand and then somehow artificially aged. In fact, there are still a great many people who believe that the whole thing was either faked or simply a mistake. Even though there have since been discoveries of similar nanospirals that have been discovered elsewhere. For this reason, the anti-skeptics are now even more convinced that if there is absolutely one as yet undebunked piece of evidence that supports the theory that alien intelligence once visited this planet, it is the Ural Mountains nanospirals.
