UK 'UFO sighting' as woman films orange light rocketing into the sky

Kirstie Hockley whipped out her camera to capture footage of the strange object and claims she has "no idea" what it was.

A strange UFO has been spotted by a woman as she was making breakfast in her kitchen this morning.

Kirstie Hockley, from St Neots in Cambridgeshire, was downstairs at 7am when she suddenly saw the mysterious light through her window.

She immediately grabbed her phone to record the UFO , which she confessed was really "weird".

In the clip, two strands of orange light can be seen hovering in the sky.

After several seconds, the light starts to disappear until it is just a tiny dot against the dark blue background.

Kirstie immediately dismissed the idea that the object could have been a plane, but admits she is unsure exactly what the light was.

She said: "I'm really not sure. It didn't look like a plane. The way it disappeared was so weird."

Earlier this month, another bizarre light was spotted in the night sky above Washington, US.

The mysterious globe was seen changing colour and size as it hovered high above the trees.
