Mystery surrounds the six UFOs spotted flying over Kent for half-an-hour

The lights hovered in the sky for more than half and hour

A GROUP of mysterious lights seen hovering in mid-air is the latest UFO spotting in UK skies.

At least six lights appeared over Hythe and Folkestone in Kent and remained there for around half an hour, with several people stopping to take photos.

The sighting has left experts baffled and the Ministry of Defence, which runs training ranges nearby, have denied any involvement.

An MoD spokesman said there were no military exercises taking place at the time.

A Kent Unidentified Flying Objects Research Group spokesman said: “The coastlines around East Kent and South Kent are major UFO areas.
