Mum snaps picture of UFO hurtling towards earth

Was it a bird or a plane? Neither it would appear.
But mystery still shrouds an unusual object spotted in Irvine's skies over the weekend.
The image of the UFO taken by a Bourtreehill resident has led to a hoard of online speculation as to what the object could be.
Heather Stewart, 35, managed to grab a picture of the ‘fireball’ on Saturday at around 7.06pm.
The mum-of-three said she thought it was a wind-up after her son excitedly told her about the mysterious item hurtling towards earth.
“My son Andrew was out in the street playing and they were all pointing up at the sky," Heather said.
“I came outside and he came running over to me and said ‘mum, mum look at that, it’s a meteor.’”
